Ole Broadcasting a division of Ole Communication, Inc. that provides Production, Post-Production, Program Dubbing, Subtitling, Content Processing, Channel Origination, Satellite, and IP Distribution Services.
Our latest project involved the installation of a new Satellite uplink and IP Distribution facility in Port St. Lucie, Florida, for the distribution via satellite for Latin America & Brazil Networks of A&E, Sony Entertainment Television, Warner Television, Telemundo, E! Entertainment Television and IVC, totaling 49 regional feeds.
The Ole Broadcasting project was a challenging installation, due to the closing of the HBO LA Sunrise facility, we had to wired 24 racks with over 20K feeds of wiring for fiber links IP contribution and return, video processing & routing, subtitles & SCTE signaling insertion, compression, stat-muxing & encryption equipment, as well as the new BOC (Broadcast Operation Center) for 24x7 contribution & downlink monitoring , signal flow alarm systems, and air check systems, all done in less than 3 months’ time.
Redundant systems and infrastructure are capable of surviving category 5 hurricanes, with a backup uplink with one week DR recording of all 49 feeds
